Avenue of the Stars Hong Kong re-open couple weeks ago. I went to see where they re-locate Bruce Lee statue.
Tons of tourist at the Bruce Lee statue.
McDull – one of the iconic Hong Kong cartoon character.
They relocate the hand prints onto the rail rather than on the floor. Easy to read and taking photos with a good background.
It was quite smoggy that day.
Tourist have fun.
Some creative design.
The crowd at the statue.
I am waiting for the Starbucks to re-open.
Took some photos on some of the fai chun 揮春 on some village houses somewhere near where I live.
Here is a link
揮春 to know what is faichun is all about.
Kumquat – symbol of luck and wealth.
Made a short video on my visit to Tai Kwun 大館
For the next 3 weeks or so, I probably will fill this blog with Chinese New Year (春節) decoration around Hong Kong.
The second part of my visit to Tai Kwun 大館 at Central. I don’t know how long this place can keep itself as original state because it’s sitting on a prime estate area.
Real estate tycoons are eyeing this place salivating one day it will turn into high rise apartment or shopping mall with residence.
A piece of history. One can see some of the colonial architecture being restored to its original state.
Look at the corridor…so nostalgic.
Only here you can see this sign.
Some miniature on the facilities when it was Police HQ.
Me inside the jail cell.
This is one of the shop selling sake cup. The upper floor turn into shops and restaurants.
Hong Kong wailing wall.
A spy shot.
This is the 1st part on Tai Kwun 大館 at former Central Police Station.
There an exhibition paying tribute to Kwan Kung (關公). I am putting a wiki link here (
KwanKung) in case you don’t know who is he.
My first time here at Tai Kwun 大館. It’s a nice area to hang out during weekend. I would not mind coming here most weekend but it’s too far from where I lived.
Trying hard to photograph 關公 figurine.
Finally, decided to start a series of Keto Food photography. My wife made the cookie. I just posted them on my site. No secret to the recipe. You can search on the Net and you can find variety of similar recipes from different blogger or vlogger.
Concluding the Christmas Lights series with a short video. Some of the shot were at Lee Tung Street (利東街), Statue Square (皇后像廣場), 1881 Heritage (前水警總部), Harbour City (海港城), East Tsim Sha Tsui (尖東),Starlight Garden (紅粉夢樂園). Nothing fancy. I used a Samsung S7 Edge with Zhiyun Smooth Q.
Wishing Everyone a Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
Continuing my series of Christmas Lights. This one at Tamar Park, Central.
